Acro

Maryland Arts eXplosion sets itself apart for its outstanding acro. Sydney Needle, our acro teacher, was a level 10 gymnast who competed across the United States in state, regional, and nationals competitions. Our acro classes use progressions from USA Gymnastics. Sydney continues to be a member of the gymnastics community by attending different workshops hosted by USA Gymnastics and different gyms in the area. We integrate our acro skills into different styles of dance to continue to push the boundaries and tell a story through dance.
